Silver Sox Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
The 2033 season is getting ugly for Phoenix Hotspur.
The Reno Silver Sox got a stellar effort from pitcher Mario Gonzáles, helping Reno score a 6-2 win over the visiting Phoenix Hotspur Youth. The Youth, now 21-42, have lost 5 straight.
Early in the game, right fielder Juan Laguna had a 2-run triple for Reno. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Silver Sox on top, 2-0.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Gonzáles said after the game.
