Mitchell Delivers Walk-Off Win for Sonics
The Atlantic City Sonics did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Reno Silver Sox at Sonics Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Lincoln Spooner, who captured player of the game honors. The Sonics now have a mark of 26-32.

Scotty Mitchell took Bob Christison deep in the bottom of the 11th. His solo home run put the Sonics on top, 4-3. In all, Mitchell had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Spooner said.
