Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Valerius Buser, the Phoenix Hotspur Youth defeated the Reno Silver Sox, 6-3. Buser went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Youth. Jason MacDonald earned the save, his 7th, for the Youth. Reno has now lost 4 straight.

Early in the game, Buser had a grand slam home run for Phoenix Hotspur. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Youth on top, 4-0.
