The Chesapeake Continentals did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Springfield Shooters at Chesapeake Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Andrew Prieto, who captured player of the game honors. In 6 innings, Prieto surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run.
