Love Boats Prevail, 4-2, Over Mercer Island
|
Lake Minnetonka Love Boats starter Isaaka Ienimea was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 4-2. Pancho Mastache recorded his 9th save for Lake Minnetonka. Lake Minnetonka is now 20-13, Mercer Island 15-18.
Early in the game, second baseman Mario van Heijbeeck had a solo home run for Lake Minnetonka. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Love Boats on top, 2-1.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ienimea told the Lake Minnetonka Citizen.
