Eclipse Get Close Win Over Love Boats

Lake Minnetonka got a terrific performance from pitcher Santiago López, but it wasn't enough to beat the Northville Eclipse. Northville won the Heron Field contest, 2-1. López was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of shutout ball. Northville, now 10-5, has played well in the early going.
Xi-ku See-to's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a slider from Pancho Mastache for a 2-run home run. It put Northville in front, 2-1.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Lake Minnetonka manager .
