Reno Topples Lake Minnetonka, 5-3
|
Reno starter Mario Gonzáles had a strong outing against the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats at Heron Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Francisco Gonsáles got the save, the 2nd for him this season. With the win, Reno boosts its record to 6-2.
Daniel Bertrand came through for Reno in the top of the fifth. With two out, Bertrand victimized Dennis Blanchard with a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put Reno on top, 5-1.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Bertrand told the Reno Today.
