Rocks Slip Past Santa Barbara, 3-2

The Plymouth Rocks picked up a win at Plymouth Quarry, knocking off the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 3-2. Starting pitcher Alejandro Ramírez played a key role in the triumph. Plymouth has an impressive 68-31 record.
The Rocks got a big at-bat from third baseman Zelmar Barajas. For the game, Barajas was 1-1 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the 11th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Plymouth a 3-2 lead.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Ramírez told the Plymouth Daily News.
