Fighting Dachsunds Slip Past Jersey City, 10-9
The Jersey City Tritons and Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds provided some drama at Dog Park in Ellenburg.

Behind the bravura of designated hitter Vicente Castaneda, the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds topped the Jersey City Tritons by the score of 10-9. Castaneda went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 4 times and driving in 2 for the Fighting Dachsunds. Ellenburg reliever Addick Lubbers was the winner. His record is now 2-4. The losing pitcher was Jason Martin.

Carlos Germán took Jason Martin deep in the bottom of the 11th. His 2-run home run put the Fighting Dachsunds on top, 10-9. In all, Germán had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Germán.

With the win, Ellenburg goes to 42-54, while the Tritons fall to 39-57.
