Nobles Cut Down Golden Cranes, 9-1
|
The exploits of left fielder Hideki Hisanobu, who is rated as the 57th best prospect by BNN, helped the Bakersfield Nobles defeat the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 9-1. Hisanobu was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Nobles now have a mark of 57-34.
Yingshang, China-born Yu-shu Kang came through in the clutch. In the top of the second, with the bases loaded and the Nobles trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to left-center to put Bakersfield on top.
