The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds had to overcome a big game from Scranton designated hitter Rafael Sánchez to leave Dog Park in Ellenburg with a 5-4 victory. Sánchez went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Garrett Harrington earned his 13th save in 18 chances. Ellenburg is now 35-50.

The Fighting Dachsunds got a big at-bat from first baseman José Vázquez. For the game, Vázquez went 1-3 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Ellenburg a 3-1 lead.
