Rafael Méndez got the win, improving to 6-0. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 8 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 4. Javier Luna picked up the save, his 4th.

The game was on the line with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning, but Rafael Méndez didn't flinch. With the bases loaded and Scranton trailing 7-5, Méndez retired Juan Montés to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Méndez, with a wink.

Plymouth improves to 53-25 with the win. They lead their division by 6 games.
