The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes picked up a win at Lookouts Ballpark, knocking off the Bloomington Longnecks, 6-4. On the mound for Santa Barbara was right-hander Kagetoki Matsubara, who played a pivotal role in the win. Juan Sánchez recorded his 3rd save for Santa Barbara. The Golden Cranes are now 42-36, while the Longnecks fall to 42-36.

Sun-jae Kwak's hit in the top of the 12th was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a curveball from Marcus Blakely for a run-scoring single. It put Santa Barbara in front, 5-4.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Kwak said.
