Fighting Dachsunds Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Nobles
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 32-year old catcher Hugo Rampley, the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds stopped the Bakersfield Nobles, 3-1. Bo Tubbs picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. Leo Ingelbrigtsen was tagged with the loss. Ellenburg, at 31-47, sits in last place in the Premier AAA.

Rampley had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Leo Ingelbrigtsen, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Fighting Dachsunds a 3-1 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Rampley.

Rampley called the triumph "a good team win."
