Golden Cranes Get One-Run Win at Bloomington
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes knocked off the Bloomington Longnecks, 8-7, at Lookouts Ballpark. Wilbert Carter, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Santa Barbara won. The second baseman was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Yoriyoshi Yoshimura got the win, improving to 5-6. He held the Longnecks to 4 earned runs on 6 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 5. Domingo Posadas closed the game out for Santa Barbara, earning his 17th save.
