The Baltimore Black Sox got a stellar performance from pitcher Jordan Turpin, who handcuffed the Calgary offense en route to a 4-2 win at Constellation Ballpark. Turpin picked up the win for Baltimore, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-6. Gordon Neugebauer was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.

Baltimore grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Tomás Valenzuela delivered a 2-run single, to make it 4-2 in favor of the Black Sox.

Turpin told a Baltimore News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
