Black Sox Continue Skid Thanks to Lamora, Fighting Dachsunds
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds defeated the Baltimore Black Sox, 6-3, in USPL Triple A action at Dog Park in Ellenburg, with Ellenburg third baseman Locke Lamora named player of the game. Garrett Harrington, credited with the save, is now 10 for 15 in save opportunities. Ellenburg has 3 straight wins, Baltimore 8 straight losses.

Lamora contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Ellenburg in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Lamora took a cutter from Jordan Turpin and stroked the home run to right-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Fighting Dachsunds to leap in front, 5-3.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Lamora said.
