Scranton beat Bloomington on the strength of starter Blair Wright's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. Wright, the winner, moves to 7-5. He threw 6.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 8 walks. The Supernovas' win now puts them at 36-35.

With two out in the top of the seventh, Felipe Bruno stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 39th hit of the season and put Scranton in front, 2-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Bruno said.
