The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds got a superb performance from catcher Hugo Rampley. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Scranton. The Supernovas won the game, 9-7. In spite of the loss, Rampley was named the player of the game. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Scranton reliever Mapuana Yara picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-1. Addick Lubbers was collared with the loss. Scranton is now 30-34, while Ellenburg is 26-38.

Scranton took the lead in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Pedro Rivera stroked a run-scoring single to make it 8-7, Supernovas.

"Enjoyed this one," Rivera told the Scranton Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
