Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Rand McNally, the Jersey City Tritons defeated the Scranton Supernovas, 9-3. McNally was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Tritons. The Tritons raised their record to 25-37.

Bartholomew Bailey drove in one run for Jersey City. The 24-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Ángel Gardener. It was his 17th RBI of the season.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said McNally.
