Bloomington third baseman Rob Gray had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 5-1. Gabriel Valenzuela got the win, improving to 1-2. He held the Golden Cranes to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Bloomington currently is in 4th place in the Premier AAA at 29-27.
Gray had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Longnecks went on to win.
