Pitcher George Eisenhauer was sensational for the Bloomington Longnecks in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Scranton Supernovas. Eisenhauer received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Eisenhauer, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. Cristián Moreno picked up the save, his 1st.

Martín Martínez aided the Bloomington cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Martínez, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The Longnecks bumped their record to 21-18 with this latest triumph.
