Lookouts Ballpark was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

The Scranton Supernovas eked out a 2-1 win versus the Bloomington Longnecks at Lookouts Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Apollo Cepeda, who captured player of the game honors. Cepeda, now 2-3, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. Earning his 1st save of the year was Malulani Anakone.

Scranton used the timely hitting of Hai-feng Tang to capture the win. The shortstop socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Supernovas ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"We put together a nice win," Tang said.

The Supernovas saw their record improve to 17-21.
