Multi-HR Game for Boston in 6-4 Win
|
Ellenburg shortstop Ben Boston made his presence felt in the 6-4 Fighting Dachsunds triumph over the Jersey City Tritons. Boston went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. Cory Sanders got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 8.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. The Tritons, at 12-23, have lost 4 in a row.
Ned Durand made it 3-2 in favor of Ellenburg when he delivered a solo home run. It came with no one out in the top of the eighth. The Fighting Dachsunds went on to win.
