Victory Pushes Longnecks Record to 19-15
|
The Bloomington Longnecks topped the Baltimore Black Sox, 7-2, in USPL Triple A action at Constellation Ballpark. The player of the game was Bloomington pitcher and St. Cloud, Minnesota native George Eisenhauer. Kozue Koga recorded his 1st save for Bloomington. The Longnecks' win now puts them at 19-15.
Toussiant L'Ouverture, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA in bases on balls with 20, contributed to the Bloomington win with a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," L'Ouverture said.
