Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Nobles
|
Bakersfield left fielder Hideki Hisanobu made his presence felt in the 5-4 Nobles triumph over the Baltimore Black Sox. Hisanobu was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Bakersfield reliever Leo Ingelbrigtsen picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jordan Turpin absorbed the loss. Bakersfield is now 16-13, Baltimore 17-12.
Jesús Reyes was the walk-off hero for Bakersfield. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nobles designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Put a star next to this win," Reyes said.
