The Scranton Supernovas knocked off the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 10-2, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Felipe Bruno, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Scranton won. The designated hitter hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Scranton now owns a record of 10-12.
Scranton grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Chase Popoff delivered a 2-run double, to make it 3-1 in favor of the Supernovas.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Popoff told the Scranton Gazette.
