Plymouth Rocks starter Rizaldo Manansala was in fine form against the Scranton Supernovas at Nuclear Stadium, leading his team to a 3-1 win. The winning pitcher was Manansala, now 3-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 4. David Moore earned the save, his 8th, for the Rocks.

Plymouth second baseman Ernesto Trevino contributed to the cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, Trevino went 1-4.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Plymouth skipper John Bush.

The Rocks, now 11-4, have been playing some good baseball.
