Dragoons Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
A nice crowd turned out to see the Louisiana Dragoons and Myrtle Beach Seahawks clash at Seahwaks Stadium.

The Louisiana Dragoons faced a tough opponent in Myrtle Beach pitcher Kelvin Fontijn, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Seahwaks Stadium by a final score of 6-2. Fontijn went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Louisiana reliever Hyung-ki Kim picked up the win to move to 1-0. Kelvin Fontijn suffered the loss.

Louisiana grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With no one out and the bases empty, José Pinto delivered a solo home run, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Dragoons.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Pinto. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The defending champion Dragoons are off to a horrible start to the season, notching only their 3rd win in 10 games.
