Thunder Hawks Clip Polar Bears in Tight Contest

Billings got a terrific game from designated hitter Mo-ruo Teoh. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Ft. Polk South, 8-4. Teoh was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. Daryl Keirl, credited with the win, is now 4-2. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. Ft. Polk South improves to 55-36 with the win. They lead their division by 3½ games.
Alejandro Santiago was the walk-off hero for Ft. Polk South. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Thunder Hawks designated hitter hit a dramatic grand slam home run to send the teams home.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Mark Harrison said.
