The Durham Rapiers got a superb performance from pitcher Ángel Roldán. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Belvedere Park. The Rawhides won the game, 5-2. In spite of the loss, Roldán was named the player of the game. He came in in relief and pitched to 18 batters . The save was credited to Jorge Ochoa, his 2nd. The win puts the Rawhides at 43-35, while the Rapiers drop to 38-40.

Belvedere Park shortstop Hang-ki Chung helped the Rawhides go up, 2-1, in the top of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Chung hit a run-scoring single off Durham pitcher Cisco Pérez.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Belvedere Park skipper James Stewart.
