The Belvedere Park Rawhides topped the Durham Rapiers, 4-2, in M3L Double A action at Rapiers Ballpark. The player of the game was Belvedere Park pitcher Katsumoto Miyanohara. Miyanohara got the win, improving to 4-5. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Miyanohara allowed 2 earned runs. Jorge Ochoa, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.
The Rawhides got a big at-bat from second baseman Bogumil Tiwontschik. For the game, Tiwontschik went 1 for 4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 96th hit of the season gave Belvedere Park a 4-2 lead.
