Polar Bears Win at San Antonio, 3-1
|
The Billings Polar Bears got a stellar performance from pitcher Paco Rojas, who handcuffed the San Antonio offense en route to a 3-1 win at San Antonio Field. Rojas got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 7 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. Rojas allowed 1 earned run. Billings is now 39-30.
Richello Mabait aided the Billings cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a walk.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Rojas told the Billings Herald.
