Getting a good performance from catcher Brodie Floyd, the San Antonio BC defeated the Billings Polar Bears, 4-2. Floyd was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the BC. Liam Sorrell closed the game out for San Antonio, earning his 6th save. San Antonio is 31-36 and Billings, with the loss, 38-29.
Ben Hampton's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant for the BC. Coming to the plate with runners on 1st and 2nd and San Antonio leading 3-2, the shortstop hit a run-scoring single.
