Nationals Prevail, 5-4, Over San Antonio
|
Ottawa right fielder José García made his presence felt in the 5-4 Nationals triumph over the San Antonio BC. García went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Ottawa is now 17-25.
García contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Ottawa in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, García took a fastball from Clyde Pell and stroked the double to left. His 8th double of the season allowed the Nationals to leap in front, 4-3.
"It feels good to get this one," García told the Ottawa Bulletin.
