Thunder Hawks Squelch Grasshoppers Offense in Shutout Win
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks picked up a win at Field of the Grasshoppers, knocking off the San Bernardino Grasshoppers, 4-0. Starting pitcher Min-chin Kim played a key role in the triumph. Kim, now 2-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. Carlos González locked down his 3rd save.

Aaron Dixon, who was drafted in the two round of the 2026 draft, helped out the Ft. Polk South cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It was a good effort all around," said Dixon.

Ft. Polk South is now 24-14, while San Bernardino is 14-24.
