5 Straight Wins for Deuces
|
Virginia Beach and Ottawa duked it out at Nationals Park and the Deuces came out victorious.
Virginia Beach Deuces starter Anastasio Cabanillas Jr. was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Ottawa Nationals, 5-2. Urs Ehles earned his 10th save in 10 tries.
Stephen McManus helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a solo home run to give Virginia Beach a 1-0 lead.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Virginia Beach manager John Anderson.
Virginia Beach has now won 5 straight.
