Fighting Dachsunds Squelch Black Sox Offense in Shutout Win
It was a fun time at Dog Park in Ellenburg, where the Baltimore Black Sox and Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds tangled.

Ellenburg rode a fine outing from starter Gerald Bolton to victory over the Baltimore Black Sox at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The final score was 5-0. Losses have been few and far between for the Black Sox so far this season. Their record drops to 6-3.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, right fielder Vladya Pugiev came through big-time for the Fighting Dachsunds. With Ellenburg leading 1-0, he belted a 2-run home run.

Pugiev told a Ellenburg Citizen reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
