Pitcher Geoff Stackhouse was sensational for the Bloomington Longnecks in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes. Stackhouse received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The winning pitcher was Stackhouse, now 1-0. He tossed 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. Anaías Pedroza finished to wrap up his 3rd save.

One of the key players for the Longnecks was catcher Carlos Cardona, who drilled a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, Cardona was 2-4 with a triple, while adding 4 RBI.

"We had a nice day," said Bloomington skipper .

The win pushes Bloomington to a record of 4-3.
