Victory Over Men Takes Salt Lake City to 60-39
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz stopped the Florida Men, 6-3, at Spirits Stadium. The Buzz got a big game from Germán Espantoso, who went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Salt Lake City reliever Gregory Bahena picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Tyler Lund shouldered the loss. Salt Lake City goes to 60-39. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
Luo-lang Li, who is rated as the 54th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Salt Lake City cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 3 with 2 singles.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Espantoso said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
