ParksNRec Win at Pennsauken, 6-4
|
The Pawnee ParksNRec defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 6-4, at Pennsauken Park. Pawnee center fielder David Tineo was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Eric Colquhoun got the win, improving to 4-7. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. With the win, Pawnee goes to 43-55, while the Flyers fall to 44-54.
Tineo had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Mike Foltynewicz, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the ParksNRec a 3-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Tineo.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Tineo. "And not try to do too much."
