The exploits of second baseman Amon-Ra St. Brown, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in runs scored with 55, helped the Pawnee ParksNRec defeat the Tremont Doubledays, 3-2. St. Brown went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. Pawnee is now 35-51, Tremont 50-36.
Dave Gant was the walk-off hero for Pawnee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the ParksNRec shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," St. Brown said.
