Great Lakers Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Reserves
|
Pure Michigan played host to Athletic Club KC at the friendly confines of Lansing Park.
Pure Michigan turned a good effort from starter Luis Bustamante into a win over the Athletic Club KC Reserves at Lansing Park. The final score was 7-1. Bustamante went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 2-2.
Quentin Harrop, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA in triples with 2, helped out the Pure Michigan cause in the bottom of the first inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Harrop.
Pure Michigan, at 28-28, occupies 6th place in the Silver AAA.
