Targaryens Come Back Late to Clip Flyers
The Targaryens faced a stiff challenge from Pennsauken pitcher Mike Foltynewicz, but persevered to claim a win at Pennsauken Park. The final score was 6-5. Foltynewicz went 8 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. Royse City reliever Ricardo Gómez picked up the win, upping his record to 7-1. Manny Hernández shouldered the loss. Getting the save was Adam Garrison, his 1st.

Yun Yen's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a sinker from Manny Hernández for a 2-run home run. It put Royse City in front, 6-5.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Pennsauken manager Juan Rodríguez. "But we decided not to take it."

Royse City is now 16-20, while Pennsauken is 14-22.
