Late Rally by Targaryens Secures Win
The Royse City Targaryens got a strong performance from pitcher Shang-de Fu, who stymied the Vermont offense en route to a 3-2 win at Royse City Stadium. The win was credited to Ricardo Gómez in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Pat Clement took the loss. The win gives Royse City a record of 6-7.

John Meléndez was the walk-off hero for Royse City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Targaryens pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Meléndez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
