Nobles Squelch Golden Cranes Offense in Shutout Win
Bakersfield starter Cameron Frye put a stranglehold on the Santa Barbara offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Nobles to a 4-0 win. Armando Garay finished the game for Bakersfield and earned his 2nd save. The loss drops Santa Barbara to 2-4.

Ed Adams delivered a big hit for the Nobles. The veteran left fielder belted a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh. The longball put Bakersfield on top, 4-0. Overall, Adams was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Bakersfield manager Elliott Taylor. "Our pregame was pretty good."
