The Calgary Lynx handed the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes a loss at Crane Field. The final score was 12-8. Hani Azwan was named player of the game for Calgary. In addition to his 1 single and 2 home runs, he scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Wai-ho Fan was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The win gives the Lynx a record of 2-0.
One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth inning. Facing Santa Barbara hurler Rocky Lannan, José de la Cavallería, who was drafted in the three round of the 2029 draft, hit a bases-clearing double. The Lynx went on to win.
