|
Lannister United Lionhearts starter Surrealiste Zhejna pitched a strong game against the Tacoma Fur Traders at Ballpark of Tacoma, leading the Lionhearts to a 6-3 win. In 7 innings, Zhejna surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 3 runs. Earning his 2nd save for Lannister United was Joy-shan Men.
Lannister United used the clutch hitting of Bren Spillane to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to give the Lionhearts the lead, 1-0. For the game, Spillane had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Zhejna said.
