The Little Caesars Hot N Readys eked out a 4-3 win versus the Lancaster Farmers at The Pizza Oven. Nobody did more than pitcher Étienne Leclerc, who captured player of the game honors. Leclerc, now 4-5, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 2, walking 0, and allowing 3 earned runs. Nick Kelley closed the game out for Little Caesars, earning his 14th save.
Troy Ross hit a run-scoring double off Daron Muldoon in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Hot N Readys in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Ross had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
"It was a good effort all around," said Ross.
Little Caesars is now 32-43.
