Lancaster pitcher Ralph DePalma did his part in helping his team beat the Lannister United Lionhearts, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. DePalma got the win, improving to 3-7. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. DePalma allowed 1 earned run. Lancaster currently is in 5th place in the Silver AA at 30-34.
Alfonso Pacheco's at-bat in the top of the eighth was significant for the Farmers. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Lancaster leading 2-1, the third baseman hit a run-scoring single.
DePalma described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
